Cricket Revolution

I really hate frogs, so look no further for the inspiration to this piece. My wife has two pet frogs in a tank that were supposed to be small little cute quarter sized darlings, but grew into mammoth jabba the hutt blobs in her tank. I do find feeding time fascinating. She throws in all these crickets and at first they wander around getting a feel for the new place. Then all hell breaks loose as one of them wanders across the devil himself and is devoured. It's every cricket for himself. This is when I start cheering for the crickets. "Go get them. You can beat these guys… work together". In this piece the crickets have joined together in a revolution against their oppressor. They will not take it anymore. Thanks for looking. I hope you see the humor in this.
