Yay, I made it 6 pages now and I finally got to the action. I finally got to the fun part. I'm still doing this with the sharpie markers and a light watercolor wash. I hope the two people who read this enjoy it. Thanks a ton guys.

Well, it took me a minute to fully decide that that's what it was. It was actually my first impression that it WAS gunfire, but I had to go back and look at it to make sure. In any case, I like the panel itself, too.
