I had this idea in my sketchbook years and years ago and always wanted to go back to it again. I need to work more on my digital drawing skills and character expressions...so going back to this piece worked as practice on both. This is sketched out in photoshop. Thanks for looking guys.

well in ancient popular culture, many animals deemed as "pests" were considered sort of... uhm artificial? as per non born by natural means, but made with magic out of normal house things (for example i remember the thing of the mice being generated by a sack of flour and a sweat covered shirt or something like that xD). Probably in case of the bugs and insects, this thing is more uhm logic, as they apparently sprung up from nowhere in closed places where food and provisions were kept (i guess from hidden little eggs, but people didnt know that). This pics reminds me a bit of those legends, many times a attribute of witches and wizards were the magical ability to create not very popular animals
